Multimedia Journalist, Photographer, Videographer & Designer
Bryce Womeldurf is a Tampa-based multimedia storyteller, designer, photographer, and videographer with more than 18 years of experience creating content for digital, print, social media, email, and the web. He approaches creative work with a documentarian’s eye, looking beyond the obvious image to find the details, atmosphere, and human moments that give a story its character.
Over a career spanning more than 18 years, Bryce spent nearly 17 years working in communications and multimedia production at the University of South Florida. Most recently, he served as Web Content Administrator for the College of Design, Art & Performance, where he managed content across five websites and produced photography, video, design, and email campaigns supporting academic programs, performances, exhibitions, recruitment, and major events. His broader background includes brand development, web design, social media, live television production, print production, and creative project coordination.
Cars have been a constant influence throughout Bryce’s life. Some of his earliest automotive memories are of riding in his father’s Jeep CJ-7 with the top down and the doors off, and in his mother’s Datsun 280ZX and Honda Prelude Si. Those experiences eventually grew into an enthusiasm for automotive design, engineering, history, and culture. In 2010, he founded HoonArt, an automotive photography and writing project that has taken him to races, concours events, car shows, press drives, garages, and enthusiast gatherings throughout Florida and beyond. His work has also appeared on Hooniverse, Jalopnik, Creative Loafing Tampa, and automotive websites around the world.
That automotive background continues to shape how Bryce thinks about communication. He is interested not only in how something looks, but also in how it works, why people care about it, and which details will make its story meaningful to an audience. Whether he is documenting a motorsport event, designing a campaign, editing a video, organizing a website, or photographing a performance, he brings the same combination of visual curiosity, technical understanding, and attention to accuracy.
Bryce currently drives a 2020 Mazda MX-5 Club, which has been part of the stable since 2023 and continues a long tradition of spirited driving in tiny drop-top cars down winding roads.
