From public programs and professional events to lectures, exhibitions, receptions, and performances, I create event photography that documents both the essential moments and the atmosphere around them. Coverage can include candid interactions, speakers, environmental details, and the people who make each event memorable.
Architect Daniel Libeskind visited the University of South Florida for a lecture, studio visits, and conversations with architecture students and faculty. Coverage focused on the interaction between Libeskind and students, documenting both the formal presentation and the more personal moments of discussion and critique.
Artist Nick Cave and collaborator Bob Faust joined Margaret Miller, then Director of USF’s Institute for Research in Art, for a public program at Tampa International Airport celebrating Palimpsest, their large-scale public art installation in the airport’s new Rental Car Center. Coverage included the talk and artwork, along with the event space, reception details, and guest interactions for promotional use.
Coverage of the USF Herd of Thunder at Raymond James Stadium focused on the band’s halftime performance and the energy of the field-level experience. With only a few minutes to photograph the performance, the assignment required quick positioning, anticipation, and the ability to capture a wide range of moments while working within an active stadium environment.
